Inventory

Track current stock, minimum levels and movement history by item and location.

Inventory is based on clear stock movements so the current quantity can be understood from the history rather than appearing as an unexplained number.

Code, name, location, current stock and minimum.

Receipt

Increase stock when goods enter inventory.

Issue

Decrease stock when goods leave inventory.

Adjustment

Correct stock when the physical reality and recorded quantity need to be reconciled.

Find items and focus on low stock.

Search by code, name or location and filter to items whose current stock requires attention. Minimum levels help turn a long stock list into an actionable view.

Products begin in the Catalog.

Define the product once, then use it in Inventory with location and minimum-stock context.

Work orders do not automatically consume inventory.

Stock movements remain explicit in Inventory. The website does not present automatic work-order consumption, transfers, batch/serial tracking, valuation or reservations as currently available features.

Next step

Use inventory alongside the rest of the workflow.

Open the Catalog first or use Reports for the broader financial picture.
